OFSTED INSPECTION

As a non-maintained residential special, St Catherine’s School is required to have a yearly OFSTED care inspection and once every three years we are inspected by OFSTED for both education and care.  The most recent reports about the school published by her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Education, Children's Services and Skills can be found on the Ofsted website at:

OUR SCHOOL CURRICULUM

A range of qualifications are available to students from Key Stage 4 according to ability. These include:

SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL NEEDS

Students at St Catherine's have a statement of special education need detailing their difficulties with speech, language and communication. Individual programmes incorporating education, therapy (Speech and Language Therapy and Occupational Therapy) and care ensure their needs are met.
