School

St Catherine's School supports students between the ages of 9 to 16. We offer both day and residential placements, with students being able to board from age 11 upwards.

We know our learners thrive in smaller settings, so our classes are no larger than 10, and, in total, we have around 70 students at any one time.

Students arrive by taxi, independent transport or walk up from Residential Houses to start the day

We operate a Breakfast Club for day-school students, where students join us for healthy breakfast options

Every student has a pastoral tutor who they meet with each morning to prepare for the day ahead

Students have a 1 hour lesson

A chance to socialise with friends and staff, enjoying some tuck, either outside in the grounds or in a communal area inside.

Students have 2 x 1 hour lesson

We offer students a wide range of hot and cold meal options, all cooked to a very high standard. Vegan options and other dietary needs are all catered for by our in-house team.

Students have 2 x 1 hour lesson

Students have additional Speech and Language Therapy sessions and Occupational Therapy sessions as appropriate.

Students are waved off by school staff on their journeys home or to their Residential House.

This is such an important part of each day where, with the help of their support worker, your child will get to explore their wider interests and to practice their life skills.
