Key Information:

How you can help?

Delivering very highly-specialised programmes for children, young people and young adults means that St Catherine’s is costly to run.

Whilst much of the finance that St Catherine’s needs comes from local authority funding for individual students, it simply does not cover all that we need to deliver the support at the level that makes a real difference to young people and their families.

Which is why fundraising is vitally important to support St Catherine’s. Without charitable support, we simply could not maintain our first-class service provision, invest in new technologies and services to support children and young people, or undertake major capital developments.

There are a number of ways that you can support us…

Become a Friend of St Catherine’s - Friends of St Catherine’s make regular donations either monthly, quarterly or yearly. Regular donations are so important for St Catherine’s, as they enable us to secure the future of our provision and ensure we are helping our students in the best ways we can.

Leaving a legacy to St Catherine’s - By including a legacy to St Catherine’s in your Will, you can help ensure our work will continue for future generations of children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.

Support one of our fundraising events - We hold all sorts of events and activities each year, the high point of which is our Summer Fair, which is hosted by our students. Please see our Calendar to find out more. As well as attending one of our events, we are always looking for prizes for raffles or auction lots.

Running your own fundraising event - You may be inspired to run your own fundraising event. Perhaps you could join a sponsored walk or run, have an event in your own home - for example a coffee morning or open your garden. Your workplace is another great opportunity, eg. a team raffle, corporate day, golf day, or even a community event such as a concert, golf day or craft fair.

Company Giving - matched giving - Your company may have a policy for charitable support. Many employers operate a matching scheme, whereby the company will match £ for £ any funds raised by an employee on behalf of the charity. Ask your employer if they offer this, or would be willing to help you with your fundraising.

Holiday Accommodation - St Catherine’s is able to hire out its residential houses over the school summer holidays. If you are interested in hiring out this accommodation, please contact our Fundraising Office to discuss your requirements.
